100In1Day is a growing global movement that is changing how people interact with their cities. Originating in Bogotá, Colombia in 2012, it has encouraged hundreds of one-day community-based interventions in cities around the world including Montreal, Santiago, and Cape Town.
On June 6, 2015 Hamilton saw 120+ projects or initiatives, also known as urban interventions, animate areas across the entire City of Hamilton all on one day. These interventions are developed by individuals, community groups, and organizations and can be anything from street art and urban gardening to beautification projects and social engagement events.
On Saturday, June 4th, 2016, 100in1Day is coming back to Hamilton! How will you transform your city?
Drop by during Art Crawl to learn about 100in1Day Hamilton, upcoming workshops, and other opportunities for involvement! Join us in a mini-workshop, tell us your ideas for 100in1Day, and be part of a photo-exhibition being revealed on June 4th!
